This is to let each of you know that we
currently have 3 Lynx Alumni serving our country in the armed forces,
two of which are currently in Iraq and another in training, set to
leave in April. Randy Lavender (‘04) and Heather Denman (‘02) are both
currently serving our country overseas. Ryan Swihart (‘04) is in
Ranger School and scheduled to be deployed in April of 2005.
With the help of several alumni, especially Darrell Clark (‘04) we
have been able to gather each of their e-mail and mailing addresses.
Please take a moment out of your day to e-mail Randy, Ryan, and
Heather and let them know you are thinking about them and all of our
brothers and sisters over there. I know several of you are extremely
busy, but an e-mail or letter from a friend back home can go a long
way. Their contact information is below.
Feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions. Also, if anyone
knows other Lynx alumni currently serving our country or involved in
the military, please let me know as soon as possible. We would like to
coordinate the sending of a care package to Randy, Ryan, and Heather.
If you would like to contribute or help out please let me know. We
hope to send this out in the next few of weeks.
