One of our main objectives throughout the
process of building the online Lynx database has been to scan and save
each alumni's senior head shot and class photo. We currently
have a copy of every Rhodes Football media guide from the 1992 season
to the present; however, years prior '92 to have been extremely hard
to locate. We ask that anyone with media guides prior to 1992
please forward them to us. The guides themselves will only be
used to scan photos and in no way will be harmed or ruined. For
example, Mike Palazzolo ('86) was kind enough to loan the RCFAA
his copy of the 1985 Rhodes media guide. This guide will be used to
scan and upload the head shots of all members of the class of '85 as
well as the 1985 Lynx team photo.
Along with
media guides, we are in need of past highlight films and game
footage. We plan to convert this footage to digital video which
will soon be available for download directly from the
website. This will allow all Lynx alumni to share in the
memories of past moments that many of them may not currently have
access to. Similar to our handling of the media guide, these
tapes will not be harmed in any manner and returned promptly when we
are finished with them.
If you would be willing to loan the RCFAA
past media guides or game/highlight films please let us know as soon
