Homecoming Weekend 2005

Football Alumni,
Just a quick note to let each of you know
that the 2nd Annual Lynx Football Homecoming BBQ
will be taking place this Saturday. The cost is $15 per person which
includes all you can eat; pulled-pork BBQ, baked beans, cole slaw, and
various desserts. All proceeds will be donated directly to the
program.
The
Official Southwestern @ Memphis / Rhodes College Football Alumni
Association T-shirts will be on sale as well. Given the
recent events of Hurricane Katrina and Rita, 25% of the profits from
the shirt sales will be given directly to Hurricane Relief on behalf
of the Southwestern @ Memphis / Rhodes College Football Alumni
Association.
The remaining proceeds will be donated to
the program and will be put towards the development of
www.lynxfootball.com. A picture of the T-shirt is below.
Note that the vintage action shot on the back of the T-shirt is of a
Lynx running back taken from the 1935 Southwestern vs. Arkansas State
game program.
If you have
already purchased a shirt, don’t forget to wear it!
